1) Reduction of the phenomenon of domestic violence and limiting its effects on women, children and senior citizens
2) Conducting research and specialized field studies
3) Providing counseling for families and individual victims of domestic violence
4) Presenting lectures and seminars on the topic
5) Offering training and rehabilitation courses for practitioners of family counseling
6) Cooperating with concerned bodies and authorities on making policies and conducting measures that can limit the increase of domestic violence and its effects, especially the respective ministries of Social Affairs, Education, Higher Education and Culture and Information
7) Starting programs that tackle family problems
8) Providing consultation for security, judicial and media authorities
9) Proposing a national strategy to deal with domestic violence |
